Chinese students encourage world leaders to find an agreement in Copenhagen!
Hundreds of students in Beijing supported the Seal the Deal! campaign by signing the Climate Petition and added another piece to the global mosaic of support.
In the run-up to the world climate summit in Copenhagen, students of the Tsinghua University organized various events about climate change and personal responsibility. During the “Low Carbon With Me” education programme, which started October 24 and lasts till the end of the UN Climate Conference, the Student Green Association will promote the Seal the Deal! petition by encouraging their fellow students to sign on big cloths and collect signatures.
The Student Green Association of Tsinghua University is one of the largest and earliest on-campus green clubs in China. Their “Low Carbon With Me” programme, with highlights such as a Model United Nations Climate Conference which will last till December 18.
